The Learn & Lead Research Institute for Health Professions Education is the research and development arm of Learn & Lead Education Center.
The Institute conducts research and develops curricula, simulation-based education, and educational content, with a particular focus on interprofessional education (IPE), disaster education, and simulation. Its purpose is to contribute to safer communities and the development of competent professionals through evidence-informed educational research and development.
Disaster response simulation education
IPE-based integrated curriculum development
Educational content and instructional design
Pilot implementation of newly developed programs
Educational effectiveness and outcome analysis
Policy research and project development with public institutions

The Research Institute focuses on the planning and development stage, including educational R&D, curriculum design, educational material development, and evaluation.
The Education Center then supports the implementation and operation of developed programs, helping research-based educational content move into real learning environments.

The Institute works with researchers, educators, healthcare professionals, universities, hospitals, public institutions, and other partners to strengthen the relevance and practical impact of its research.
Research fellows and external experts may participate in research projects, curriculum and educational material development, academic activities, consultation, and collaborative project planning.
